So, it's pretty annoying (and often very confusing) that "resigns" - to sign with again - and "resigns" - to quit - are the same word. I've had this idea in the "drafts" section of the site for a long time, and this week it became relevant on several occasions; with the Pac-12 official stuff, and all the nonsense going on at Rutgers. Imagine if you have no background knowledge of the situation and you read this headline:"Ed Rush resigns as Pac-12 Conference Coordinator of Officials."
It can mean one of two totally opposite things.
4/8 Update: It has been brought to my attention that "to sign again" is actually "re-sign." So I guess problem solved? It's still definitely confusing though.
