Back in spring training I suggested the possibility of Daniel Nava making the All-Star Game (last season he hit .303 with a .385 on-base percentage). He then responded by batting a horrific .149 in the month of April, which led to a demotion to Triple-A. However, since Nava's return to Boston on May 24 he's been very close to the same player he was a year ago. In his last 56 games Nava is hitting .295 with a .366 OBP.

And last but not least, on Wednesday afternoon Joe Kelly (who Boston acquired in the John Lackey trade) became the first Red Sox pitcher in nearly 45 years to steal a base:

Did Roger Clemens really say he'd done nothing wrong regarding his career -- or did Bill Plashke (sp?) misrepresent his comments on ATH yesterday?
