Then last week Spieth was snubbed for the ESPY award for "Best Breakthrough Athlete" in favor of a Little League baseball player, and I decided to officially hop on his bandwagon.
Even though the 21-year-old Spieth finished one stroke shy of a chance to win his third major in a row today, I made a point of tuning in.

When he drilled that put on 16 to tie for the lead, I legitimately began to consider the possibility that I could be a fan of watching golf on TV.
