Awesome Old Song of the Week: "Boogie Shoes" by K.C. and the Sunshine Band

The first time I remember enjoying K.C. and the Sunshine Band's Boogie Shoes was when it played in the background of an episode of Sports Night (my favorite sitcom of all time).

In the show, Dana, played by Felicity Huffman, dances to the song in the television studio after the cast comes back to work after a night of drinking in the bar downstairs.

I searched for a clip of this on YouTube, but came up with a scene from Desperate Housewives instead:



So that got me wondering, does Felicity Huffman write it into her TV contracts that she must get to dance to Boogie Shoes?  If it shows up in an episode of American Crime this season we'll know for sure...
